By the end of the century, artificial intelligence may become a distributed cognitive layer spanning the planet. Sensors, robots, satellites, autonomous systems and intelligent infrastructure may form a planetary mind capable of monitoring global conditions, predicting crises, managing ecosystems and coordinating civilizations. This would not be a single centralized intelligence but a network of specialized systems collaborating in constant synchrony.
